Amadeus 5 has been integrated with certain models of Mitsubishi and Thyssen lifts. DDS has faced the challenge to integrate the new generation of smart lifts, in which the control panel is located outside the lift, as well as lift connected via RS485.
The models currently compatible with Amadeus 5 include :
– Mitsubishi E-LIP and lifts via RS485,
– Thyssen TE-HP61 and lift supporting TKAW serial protocol

In this integration with Mitsubishi lifts, Amadeus sends a command directly to the lift controller panel of the Mitsubishi lift, instead of using relays as in the standard lift integration. Upon receiving the information on the authorised floors for each badge holder, the relevant buttons on the lift are activated.
This integration requires connecting the lift controller panel with the second RS485 port of the DDS controller, selecting Mitsubishi as the controller lift type and choosing, for each reader, which floors are accessible and which lift doors are opening (front and/or back).
In this integration, DDS is compatible with Thyssen smart lifts, where the control panel is located outside the lifts. In this integration, a badgeholder swipes a badge at the reader integrated into the lift destination selector, located outside of the cabins.
The user chooses a destination from the displayed list of authorized floors, received from Amadeus 5. The lift destination selector sends the closest lift available. It directs the user towards the appropriate cabin.
