The developments done for the Kone destination dispatch lift will enable:
– Amadeus8 Users to configure their building infrastructure, allowing Amadeus8 Cardholders to take advantage of Kone’s advanced destination dispatch technology,
– Amadeus8 Cardholders to call a lift by swiping their card at a hall operating control panel,
– Amadeus8 Cardholders to make a specific call based on their needs, such as a handicap or priority call.

In a smart lift integration, passengers present their badge to a hall operating panel before entering the lift, in order to register their destination floor.

Validating the badge to the reader outside the lift cabin triggers the access control authorization process: Amadeus 8 will send a command directly to the lift controller panel of the Kone smart lift, instead of using relays as in the standard lift integration. Upon receiving the information on the authorized floors for each badge holder, only the relevant lift buttons are activated.
