Eter, DDS’ partner in Italy, is proud to announce that DDS access control solution will soon be installed in 700 telecom shelters spread over Italy. Indeed the access to the containers, protecting the optical fibre cabling, is managed by DDS Flash controllers and DDS Amadeus 8 software. Up till now, this project is the biggest Amadeus 8 installation ever.

In the first phase of the project, six months ago, some 200 shelters were protected by DDS. Following the good functioning of the existing system, the project is entering in the second phase: the implementation of another 500 Flash controllers.

“At completion of the project, after the third phase, a total of 1000 controllers will be installed to protect high value technical equipment in telecom shelters around the country.” Said Mr. Andrea Giacobazzi, General Manager of Eter Biometric Technologies.
