Amadeus 8 New release (Version 1.80) is hot off the press. Among others, the new features include: compatibility with Microsoft active directory, global antipassback and additional integrations.

Microsoft Active Directory
DDS can now leverage existing identity management systems that work with Active Directory support to provide a simplified user login option for Amadeus 8 user.

Global Antipassback
Antipassback is designed to prevent a card to be presented several times consecutively at the same reader, in order to reduce the misuse of the access control system.
Global Antipassback (GAPB) establishes a required sequence of readers that needs to be followed for the system to grant access. GAPB forces a user to go along a particular path to his destination. In Amadeus 8, the GAPB is based on the Area module.

Integrations
Additional third party integrations in the fields of video, lifts and readers are now compatible with Amadeus 8.

Readers: Suprema (face: FaceStation & FaceLite)
